X-ray

Plural
X-rays
Description

Means of portraying structures on an image via radiography using energy-rich electromagnetic rays with a wavelength of approx. 10-10 nanometer. The different permeability of various materials and structures (X-ray contrast) enables normal and/or deviating results to be differentiated when testing materials (cracks, porosities etc.) and diagnosing (changes in hard structures etc.).
